A mobile asphalt drum mix plant DM-25 is a road construction machine that produces hot-mix asphalt 20-30 tons per hour by continuously heating and mixing aggregate with bitumen in a rotating drum. Its primary features are a compact, trailer-mounted design for easy transportation to different job sites, a continuous mixing process, and a centralized control cabin for efficient operation. Key components include a cold aggregate feeder, a thermo-drum unit with a burner for drying and heating, a primary dust collector, a bitumen storage tank, and a load-out conveyor to deliver the finished asphalt.
KEY FEATURES & COMPONENTS:
Designed to be transported between different construction sites using trailers, providing flexibility for various projects.
Unlike batch plants, a drum mix plant continuously feeds cold materials into a rotating drum where they are heated and mixed with bitumen and filler to produce hot asphalt.
The plant is typically mounted on a few trailers, with Trailer No. 1 often containing the cold aggregate feeder, thermo-drum unit, burner, and primary dust collector, while Trailer No. 2 includes the bitumen tank and control cabin.
Features a computerized control panel for precise monitoring and control of the production process.
The core component is the drum, which heats and mixes the materials in a continuous, seamless flow.
A fully insulated bitumen tank stores the bitumen, with a jacketed bitumen pump and metering system.
A primary dust collector is included to manage dust generated during the process.
